Costa Rica Itineraries

With over 850 species and many unique habitats, no single trip can do this amazing country justice. We are developing multiple itineraries to help photographers achieve greater depth and in their portfolio and really soak up the huge diversity the country has to offer

Quetzals, Hummingbirds, and Tanagers

May 18 - 23, 2019
Quetzals remain the ultimate quest for birders and photographers in Costa Rica, and with the help of local guides they can be photographed very reliably. The huge diversity of hummingbird species in the country is truly staggering, and we hope to help the participants on this trip photograph between 15 and 20 separate species.

Toucans, Honeycreepers, and Macaws

May 25 - 30, 2019
No one can resist the colors and personalities of these icons of the Central American tropics. We will be able to get up close and personal with all three categories of species, along with many others. Top the trip off with a day on the river with herons and raptors.
